At this point of the game, you are near the end of The Last Guardian. There is just one more thing you need to do and we’re here to help you out.
You may have seen Trico getting mauled by the other beasts. During the mauling, one of the beasts grabs Trico’s tail and snaps it off. Trico is not dead, although you need to still try and help him out. Luckily, his tail still has power when you use the mirror.
First of all, you need to find where the tail landed. Well the tail should be inside the tower you just climbed out of. It’s just a black bushy tail that you should see. It shouldn’t be too hard for you to find. It’s just on the floor.
Don’t be like me and try and take the tail upstairs. There’s no chance of you taking the tail back to Trico as you cannot climb and hold onto the tail at the same time. It took me ages to find out, but you need to drop the tail onto the bottom level where the evil sphere is lurking.
Take a hold of the tail by holding down the circle button, and just drop it somewhere near the evil dark sphere. The narrator will say that there is still power in the tail even though Trico not around. Just take out the mirror and shine it onto the evil sphere.
Once you shine the mirror onto the dark sphere, you will destroy it and the other beasts will no longer be in mind control. They will go berserk and fly away from Trico and fall down. Congratulations, you should have finished The Last Guardian by now. Sit back and watch the cutscenes and end credits!
