Nolan North (voice of Nathan Drake) revealed some interesting things about what happened behind the scenes from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
As GearNuke reports, Nolan North held a Q&A session at MetroCon 2015. A lot of Amy Henning’s vision for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was scrapped by Naughty Dog.
North said 8 month’s of Hennig’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’s story was “thrown away“. When that happened, The Last of Us producers came in and wanted to do their own take on the story. Basically The Last of Us team brought their own people in and sadly some others were let go.
However, North is not sad about the change in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. He said one good thing they did was bring in Troy Baker to play the role of Nathan Drake’s brother. Baker and North are great friends so they had chemistry right away.
North said Hennig’s departure from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End shouldn’t affect the story that much. He still feels the game will be “phenomenal” and thinks gamers will be amazed.
It will be interesting to see what the story will be like in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Fans are keen to see if it is enjoyable like the other games.
