Arkham City DLC Problems Affected Small Portion of Gamers

The Batman: Arkham City launch is just barely in the rear view mirror, but some purchasers hit some speed bumps with their copy of the game.  VIP passes which were incorporated into the game to access game altering content, were inaccessible by some, but that number is likely much smaller than it appears.

The Arkham City Community Team released the following statement showing that the problems only affected a sliver of one percent of the total purchases for the game.

Since Tuesday's incredibly successful launch of Batman: Arkham City in North America, our customer support team has received a very small number of calls/emails (less than 0.5 percent of total units sold) regarding Catwoman codes either being invalid or not included in the game packaging. While the number of affected versions is very small, WB Games apologises for any inconvenience this has caused and we are committed to getting these issues resolved as quickly as possible.

All who are experiencing any issues with the game are requested to contact WB Games customer service Department by calling (410) 568 - 3680 , emailing support@wbgames.com or visiting community.batmanarkhamcity.com/support. All matters will be handled promptly.

For those that did experience problems, make sure you follow the five step protocol that Warner has initiated to get you the content you might have missed.

    I guess I got lucky :o.

No fun to the people this happened too but at least they’re making it easy to get around the problem.

Beware. If you think you are lucky, don’t count on it. I had no problems downloading or playing either the Catwoman or Robin portions of this game last week. Last night I was working through game+ at about 80% completion when I got the “DLC corruption message.” This isn’t just about customers not getting codes or codes not working. As frustrating as that is, it happens. While some players are unable to play the game, others have lost saved games. Me? Because of this DLC I have lost my entire hard drive. Warner Bros. and Rocksteady are seriously downplaying this issue.
