While most of the loose ends were tied up in regards to the stories of Altair and Ezio in Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, Desmond still had some questions left unanswered in the most recent release. New achievements for the game, spotted by Xbox 360 Achivements, say that there are 250 Gamerscore points dedicated to the character. This indicates that an upcoming batch of DLC will expand on the single player for Assassin’s Creed Revelations.
The list of awards can be found at Xbox 360 Achievements and shed some light on what to expect from the upcoming content. There’s no release date or official announcement of the content just yet, so no price point is known for the upcoming expansion to the game.
Having a look at the achievements you’ll find that they include more of the types of puzzles that were found in the main portion of Desmond’s limited role in the game. Retailers don’t have a line on whether this new content is coming, but a handful have a mysterious game titled Assassin’s Creed: Ottoman Edition, which alludes to free DLC included with the game. A secondary release would be nothing new for the series. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood saw a “DaVinci Edition” which featured DLC as well.
We’ll have to wait on official confirmation from Ubisoft about the rumors.
