Assassin’s Creed Syndicate may have just been announced, but the pre-orders have gone up and even information regarding special editions and season passes have begun to come out.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate looks to be getting a Gold Edition that will not only include the base game, but also the season pass for $89.99 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. No word on what the Season Pass for Syndicate will hold, but it only mentions the following on Gamestop;“featuring a major expansion plus digital content & exclusives”. If you pre-order at Amazon or Gamestop you will receive the Darwin & Dickens Conspiracy mission. Which is described as the following:
“Embark on two pulse-quickening missions that will take you into the inner sanctums of London’s most influential men. Defend Charles Darwin’s discoveries from those who would kill to silence him. And help a friend of legendary writer Charles Dickens keep a secret that could get him killed.”Â
So you essentially receive two missions for pre-ordering and that is boxed in with the game (code). Gamestop exclusive pre-order includes a physical necklace that resembles Jacob’s necklace. It has a rather intricate description for just a necklace:
“This high-quality replica created from the in-game models acts as your membership badge, marking you as one of the gang when you encounter other Assassin’s Creed fans. Wear it around your neck or detach the coin and place it in your pocket – but be ready to display it at a moment’s notice whenever your allegiance is challenged!”
Fans will also receive something called ‘Assassin’s Creed reward credits’. Â For pre-ordering Assassin’s Creed Syndicate via Gamestop, Amazon, Target, and Wal-Mart you can earn 10,000 of them and they are tracked via the rewards website. It allows you to redeem coins for sweepstakes, wallpapers, soundtracks and more. Hopefully we will learn more about the rewards program and the season pass in the weeks to come.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is set to release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on October 23rd.
