The Azurite Blue version of PlayStation 3 will be available in the United States and Canada later this year. GameStop will sell this console exclusively in the United States while EB Games will be doing the same in Canada. The availability of the console was announced at the 2013 GameStop Conference.
The special edition will be available from October 8, 2013. It will come with a single DualShock controller and a 250GB hard drive and will cost you $249.99. Pre-orders will be be taken from tomorrow. GameStop also announced that these special editions will be available for a limited time only.
The Azurite Blue PS3 and the Garnet Red PS3 were first announced in January this year as limited time editions for Japan. These colors are exclusive to the Super Slim edition of PS3 and came to Europe as part of a bundle that included 2 DualShock controllers and a 500GB hard drive.
