Electronic Arts just announced the date for the Battlefield 3 beta.  The EA Support Team @SupportEA took to twitter to give away some prizes, and unveil the anticipated launch date for the beta.  For those that purchased Medal of Honor last fall, you will get access to the beta come October.  Everybody else, it might be tough cookies as EA expects for the beta to be closed as of this point.

Battlefield 3 was just officially announced, and is expected to launch alongside one of the best fall lineups we’ve seen in quite some time.  Expect the game for PS3, Xbox 360, and with dedicated servers on the PC

Though you may want to take this with a grain of salt.  One of the DICE community managers had this to say about the announcement.
