The character creator from Black Desert Online that has wowed MMO players on the PC so far is now available to check out as a stand-alone download. Daum Games announced the release of a character creator Tuesday to give those interested a chance to make their own beautiful or distorted character along with beta testing news.
The Black Desert Online character creator is available to download from the MMO game’s website. Characters created can be imported into the game when it is officially release and during the second closed beta test planned for February.
Additionally, players can enter a “Beauty and the Beast” contest for the Black Desert Online character creator. The contest opens on January 26 and runs through February 5 with a chance to win in-game and physical rewards.
Meanwhile, the second and final Black Desert Online closed beta will start on February 18. Those interested in participating can guarantee entry by pre-ordering the $50 Explorer’s Package or the $100 Conqueror’s Package.
Black Desert Online was originally made available in its home country of Korea through an open beta in 2014. A Western release is planned for 2016 though a specific launch date has not been announced yet. The game will be released with a buy-to-play model in North America and Europe over the free-to-play model being used for Korea, Japan, and Russia.
