Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate is likely headed to the Nintendo 3DS it appears, after an issue of Nintendo Power was discovered to promote the game as an upcoming cover story. Â Previously it had been rumored that a new Castlevania game was in the works by Mercury Steam, and it was expected that there would be an announcement at E3 2012.
The upcoming issue of Nintendo Power (June 2012) will feature Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate, and was discovered by Go Nintendo. Â The website snagged a bunch of details from the upcoming issue , including a couple of screenshots and cover art for the title.
The game is revealed to be centered around the story of Trevor Belmont and the upcoming issue of Nintendo Power details the combat mechanics of the upcoming title, which seem to be pretty much in-line with the console version of Lords of Shadow.
We could hear a concrete announcement on Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate at Konami’s upcoming pre-E3 event which is happening this Thursday, May 31st or at Nintendo’s E3 Press Conference on June 4th.
