There has been a lot of speculation and rumor about the possibility of Crysis 3 on the Wii U. Â After Crytek explained that there was a “fat chance” of the shooter arriving on the new console, it got many fans wondering why that was the case. Â So much so, that Crytek better phrased their answers to journalist questions about the possibility of Crysis 3 on the Wii U.
Most recently, Crytek left the door open for a release on the Wii U. Â “I wouldn’t say no chance,” Crytek’s Mike Read said in a recent interview. “I mean the Wii U still doesn’t have any kind of release attached to it at this point. Who knows what the future will bring with it. I can definitely say that we are working with Nintendo, and that’s about all I can say on that front.”
Today however, Crytek’s Nick Button-Brown dispelled myths that they do have a Wii U Crysis 3 project in the works.
Just to answer the speculation, we are not currently working on a wiiU version of #Crysis3.

Perhaps Crytek is waiting to see just how popular the Wii U will be after it arrives later this year. Â Crysis 3 is due out in early 2013 on the PS3, PC, and Xbox 360.
