The Digimon franchise has been going for over 15 years now and doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. In that time, we’ve had countless video games based on the series and one of the most well received was Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth for PS Vita in Japan. For those that have been waiting, not only is it coming to the US, but it is also getting a release on PS4 as well.
As announced during Bandai Namco’s RPG panel at Anime Expo, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth is coming to the West next year for both PS4 and PS Vita, with the latter being digital only.
While the game just released back in March, many were worried that the game would not make it to the US at all, with many games like the recent Digimon Adventure or Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode not leaving Japan. Instead, we got last year’s Digimon All-Star Rumble that was released around the same time in both regions.
This game has garnered a lot of fan support and as a long time Digimon fan, I know this is a must purchase for me when it comes out next year. Hopefully the wait won’t be too long and it will fall in the earlier part of 2016.
For those interested, a short teaser was released to show off Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth coming to the US that you can see below.
