When it comes to Dragon Ball Z games, most of the time they’ve featured the same storylines. In Dragon Ball Xenoverse however, a new storyline might finally surface.
The game’s producers Masayuki Hirano and Masahiro Kashino got to talk with DB-Z.com on Dragon Ball Xenoverse. When talking about the narrative, they teased that there “will be a new story”. However, there will still be the old Dragon Ball Z favorite characters. They didn’t want to alienate fans by introducing a full list of new characters completely.
The new story is said to revolve around the mysterious red-haired guy that has been seen during the trailers for Dragon Ball Xenoverse. All we know right now is that this character is from the future and oversees the fights that have happened in the past. Nobody knows exactly who he is now and Bandai Namco is not sharing any details yet.
The full roster count for Dragon Ball Xenoverse is yet to be finalized. They’re still unsure if content from the Battle of Gods movie will make it into the game. Considering it was already featured in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, they could leave it out but that’s not confirmed yet.
