Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is Going To Be Great, Stop Worrying

by | @FanboyAttack | on January 10, 2011

Bethesda has many loyal fans to their Elder Scrolls franchise.  In a year that will see a release of the fifth installment, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, fans are starting to get a little bit worked up overs the recent details that were released in this months issues of Game Informer.  More specifically, people are starting to think that the once ‘hardcore’ RPG is getting dumbed down in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Oblivion was often times cursed at for it’s level of difficulty due to a way that characters and enemies progressed together throughout the game.  Since Game Informer’s preview of the game left many questions for Skyrim fan, Bethesda took to the company forums to address the issues.

“Since people are asking, wanted to briefly touch on level scaling. All our games have had some amount of randomness/leveling based on player level. Skyrim’s is similar to Fallout 3’s, not Oblivion’s,”

Which did you prefer, reader?  The insanely difficult Oblivion or the more flowing and realistic Fallout 3?  Was that a leading question?  We Want to Know!  Leave your creative, funny, or hateful comments in the section below.
