If you are in San Francisco this week and see an Anti-North Korean protest ravaging the streets of the city, don’t be alarmed it’s probably fake. North Korea has not taken over Asia and is not planning world domination, at least not yet anyway.
THQ is holding a demonstration to promote Homefront, the upcoming first person shooter from Kaos Studios. The protest will make its way across the Golden Gate Bridge to end at the Yerba Gardens, which conveniently happens to be directly in front of the Moscone Center which hosts GDC.
Homefront is a first-person shooter that challenges players to survive and impact a fictional future scenario in which America has been economically devastated and occupied by a foreign power. In the face of overwhelming oppression, you must choose whether to submit to military forces, take the fight to the enemy or even throw your lot in with the invaders.
Additional features include: a single player campaign written by Hollywood screenwriter John Milius, online multiplayer support for up to 32 players, ground and vehicular combat, and more. Homefront will arrive on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on March 15th.
