Go figure, Modern Warfare 3 still leading online

Despite having a lackluster month of sales, and many calling for the impending crash of popularity for the shooter, Modern Warfare 3 has once again dominated the Xbox Live charts according to the recent Live Activity list on Major Nelson’s blog.  The double headed Call of Duty monster in Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops took the top two spots, with FIFA 12, Battlefield 3, and Halo: Reach rounding out the top 5.

Apparently, folks are still playing Modern Warfare 2, as it also resides in the top ten games on console.  Ahead of Skyrim, a game released two years after.
