Nintendo 3DS eshop iceclimbers

Nintendo has recently announced that they will be rewarding loyal customers that have purchased the Nintendo 3DS before the company slashes the price of its handheld.  Announcing the “Nintendo Ambassador Program”, the company will reward players that sign and connect to the Nintendo eShop before 11:59 EST on August 11th.

As a Nintendo 3DS Ambassador you won’t only have the distinguished title of “person that payed too much for their system”  but you’ll also be entitled to a bunch of free games.  You’ll get access to 10 free NES Virtual Console titles which are scheduled to launch on September 1st.  Alongside the 10 NES titles, you’ll also get access to 10 more Game Boy Advance VC games.

So while you’re waiting for the onslaught of first party titles that Nintendo showed off at E3 2011, you’ll have something to keep you busy…  and mend your ailing wallet.
