Future Rumored Marvel Vs Capcom 3 DLC Character List
A couple of weeks ago the first batch of downloadable characters was released for Marvel Vs Capcom 3. Jill Valentine and Shuma Gorath were the first two characters available at a price, and if rumors are correct, there are more in the works. The originator of the rumor leaked a full roster list last year which all ended up being confirmed for the retail release of Marvel Vs Capcom 3, so they could be on to something here. The characters below are noted as future downloadable content and the informant also claims there will be downloadable stages in the game.
Please keep in mind that none of these characters have been confirmed or denied by Capcom at this time. No mention of future DLC has come from the Capcom camp, so please make a mental note that these are not confirmed characters for the game, no matter how cool they sound.
Update: These rumors have been denied by Capcom so it looks like the list below is just speculation for now. Christian Svensson of Capcom told EventHubs:
I read a rumor that all of these characters would be the next DLC fighters made available for Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Is this legit?
Marvel: Dr. Octopus, Juggernaut, Elektra, Apocalypse, Iceman, Thanos and Ms. Marvel.
Capcom: Frank West, Phoenix Wright, Megaman X, Gene, Talbain, Strider, Gail.
Svensson: I'll save you all the trouble... not legit.

If this is true I would die happy. Its about time Capcom gave Dino Crisis some love in these games. Dino Crisis deserves a rep in this game. If it doesn’t turn out to be Regina at least we get Gail. Dino Crisis fans want a character too and it seems Capcom has FINALLY acknowledged that!
The funny thing is several of those characters have been rumoured so there might be more to it. I won’t get my hopes up yet but its like Capcom deliberately held back the characters we wanted if this is true.

I hope this is true, they have denied stuff before and it ended up happening. The roster sounds great. Apocalypse, doc oct, jugger, tailban, x, frank, strider….. sick.

Yep like when the Producer confirmed that Sentinel wasn’t in the game. Doesn’t get more official then that…… Oh wait…….
Fact is Capcom pull this stuff to generate hype. More of the time its a controlled leak then it is trolls posting for attention.
I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the list (if not all of it) is true. It kind of makes me wonder how Haggar was lucky enough to make release considering how popular he is.

they need either silver surfer or a fantastic 4 member. super skrull can’t be the only one representing that franchise. i mean freaking dr. doom AND galactus are in the game!!!
other than that, they also need ghost rider, blade, daredevil, and maybe punisher. bringing venom back would be neat too.
as for capcom, bring back captain commando! he does represent capcom doesn’t he? (CAP-tain COM-mando??) and Strider. Definitely Frank West too!

Hmmm….If this is comin’ from the same “informant” that leaked this game’s entire roster a YEAR before the game was released [I actually saw that list and thought it was bulls**t at the time, but it was exact and to the T], then I would bet that this info is pretty legit. I’m a little disappointed though, because I was hopin’ for Vergil, Gambit, Psylocke, and Ibuki to be in this game, but….I guess there’s still a chance for them in the not-so-near future…..
A lot of this cast looks interestin’ [I can't wait to see what Gene will bring to this game, and I think Elektra's goin' to be the "Psylocke" of this game], and there are returin’ characters [STRIDER!!! Iceman....?]. All-in-all it’s a cool cast.

I like this list. Even if it’s rumored or “it may come true”. I just hope it will be 4 characters in the next dlc. & for less price. Come on, Capcom, you have a lot of money & we shouldn’t be paying too much for all these characters. Also for stages, anyone should not have to pay for those. We were jabbed on the stages (too damn little for a game like this). Back to the characters, Apocalypse seems like the only character that would be hard to bring into the game. I would like him in it but seems like they would have to dumb-him down.
Also, their should be a “new” dlc packs & a “old” dlc packs.
but
I don’t really care for any dlc (i’ll still get them) until they bring back Omega Red!

I know I’m not the first to say this, but this is probably an intentional leak to build hype. Remember a while back when we saw the picture of Haggar on the computer screen, or when Sentinel was disconfirmed? This list was likely made so Capcom could say its fake so we’d all forget about it and then POOF! It wasn’t all false after all!
I’m really curious on how they can balance Juggernaut and what they’ll give him as more Hyper Comboes. (Knowing Capcom they’ll probably just do a Angled Headcrush. Lol)

Maybe we are jumping the gun here on all of the DLC we expect and want in MvsC3. Look at the character select screen, there is probably room for two more DLC characters. Considering what Capcom did with Street Fighter IV, then the follow up of Super Street Fighter IV, more characters, some additional game play adjustments we could just be on the verge of getting a Super Marvel vs. Capcom 3 released just in time for Christmas. Remember all of the costume packs that came out AFTER Super Street Fighter IV came out?
I might be wishing but it makes sense to practice with this release then fine tune the system and reap the rewards.

i will personally slap the everyone of the game creators if they do at least include the characters from the previous games. For me if gambit doesn’t appear then this becomes a game i no longer care for, he just seems to be the most overlooked x-men and yet when polls r done he is a big fan favorite.
