PlayStation Plus members are getting another great game for free this week with The Lord of the Rings: Guardians of Middle Earth arriving to the Instant Game Collection portion of the service. The MOBA title recently released on the Xbox Live and PlayStation Networks, and is a surprisingly good console adaptation of this popular PC genre.
PlayStation Plus subs will also get deals on a variety of games as well. Karateka has been dropped to $5 as part of this week’s promotions, and Big Sky Infinity and Knytt Underground have been lowered as well. These optional purchases definitely play second fiddle to the arrival of GOME for free though.
We recently reviewed Monolith’s MOBA and were surprised at just how well the genre translated to consoles. This deep online experience was a blast to play, and now users can play it on the free, if they have PlayStation Plus of course.
