What’s the first thing that you do when you see a cucco in a new Legend of Zelda game? That’s right, you save your game and then wallop it with your sword a couple of times just to see what will happen. This little Easter Egg of sorts has been with the series for years now, and every entry has some fun way for the cucco to fight back, whenever Link decides to torment them a bit too much. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is no different, with the usual attack, but some fun additions to spice things up. You can check out the video below to see it in action.
Of course, some might consider this a bit of a spoiler, so the ball is now firmly in your court. Do you want to know what happens when you attack the cucco in Zelda: Breath of the Wild? I won’t ruin the experience of seeing the cucco attack live by describing it. It was a definite shock when it first happened to me, even though I was specifically anticipating the usual retailiation. The sounds that were made though, were a definite surprise.
