ThatGameCompany announced today that the ambitious PSN title, Journey, will arrive next spring.  The game which went through an absolutely goregous showing at recent tradeshows and a closed beta, finally has an official release window.

Jenova Chen took to the PlayStation Blog to inform fans of the game about the good news.

“While there is still a ton of care and polish needed, we can’t wait to finally deliver Journey.  TGC’s take on an online adventure game,” Chen wrote. “Like all our games, Journey is an experiment.  In the end, it’s what you think that matters.”  “Fortunately, the online beta went very well, and our continued playtests have given us great feedback on the work we have left to complete.”

Look for this PlayStation 3 exclusive to drop next spring.  No word on whether there would be further online beta testing when the game gets nearer to release.
