Remember the RPGs of the 90s? Games like Xenogears, Zelda and Castlevania had a certain unique element to them. At the time, they were just the way they were and we thought nothing of it. Nowadays, pixel art is a reacquiring theme among designers and developers. It brings a sense of wonder and simplistic beauty to our digital worlds.
Enter Heart Forth, Alicia—a game that’s been in development for the last 7 years and needs your help to finish it.
Heart Forth, Alicia fallows a young wizard girl on a mission to save her world from being consumed in total darkness. It’s a whimsical tale filled with classic RPG elements—agile combat, loot, magic, intertwining stories, dungeons and huge open worlds. It doesn’t hurt that it’s a beauty to look at, as well.
The game was just put on Kickstarter and—unlike a lot of games on Kickstarter—has a lot to show for it.
It’s already raised over $28,000 of the $60,000 needed with a full 29 days to go.
