If you will be attending Gamecom, you will be happy to know that Square Enix is bringing Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMIX with them.
That’s right, Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMIX will be playable on PS3 for all attendees to try. Square Enix is bringing in around 180 gaming stations with them, although there will be more games for you to try out as well.
The other games you can try out at Gamescom from Square Enix include Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris and even Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Square Enix is sure promoting Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn a lot if it’s to be playable at Gamescom. Usually game developers and publishers focus on unreleased games at gaming conventions, so the addition of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn seems surprising.
Going back to Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMIX, this game will be available in December as a PS3 exclusive. The game includes the PS2’s Kingdom Hearts 2 and the PSP’s Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. Both games have been remade in HD to look better than ever. To complete the package, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded has been added in the Theater mode allowing you to view over 3 hours of the game’s cutscenes.
As neat as it is to know that Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMIX will be playable at Gamescom, it would be more exciting if Square Enix gives us more updates on Kingdom Hearts 3 or Final Fantasy XV.
