Â The price is still a significant jump from previous editions of the game, but in the same breath, its much less than the $120 that some had speculated (including us). Â The Modern Warfare 3 hardened edition comes with plenty of goodies to make it worth your while, like the Call of Duty: Elite 1yr membership, extra content, avatar costume, and game art.
The bulk of the value here comes in the form of the Call of Duty: Elite membership. Â The Hardened Edition will get you a one year subscription to the service, which normall runs you $49.99. Â Out of the gate, you’re saving ten bucks for getting the Hardened Edition if you were going to join Elite regardless. Â The premium service will give you access to monthly Call of Duty content, social features, contests, video uploads, and more.
Retailers have begun listing the Hardened Edition this morning for the advertised price.
