Capcom has finally confirmed a release date for the highly anticipated Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate along with a special edition New 3DS XL for North America.
The announcement came during the Nintendo Direct that aired earlier today which brought a slew of other announcements for the platform, as well as a release date for the new 3DS models. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will release on February 13th, 2015 alongside the New 3DS model itself. The Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Bundle will be exclusive to the New 3DS XL. The New Nintendo 3DS and New 3DS XL will bring Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate fans the ability to play with enhanced graphics, c-stick functionality and customizable ZL and ZR buttons. It will allow players to map the buttons however they want but the overall experience won’t change much depending on what model of 3DS you have.
Given all of the options for the New Nintendo 3DS fans have a lot of choice when the new platform releases next month. Between this Monster Hunter 4 version and the Majora’s Mask version it will be a Nintendo collector’s dream come true.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is set to release on February 13th, 2015 in North America exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS family of devices.
