Naughty Dog has confirmed there will be single player DLC for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. However, the studio is unsure what to include on it.
Naughty Dog’s Arne Meyer was interviewed by Gamespot with the single player DLC put into the discussion.
According to Meyer, Neil Druckmann (the game’s director), has yet to decide on what is to be included in the single player DLC. This is because the studio is still busy finishing off the main game.
Meyer also mentioned Naughty Dog is not cutting a part of the story and just fobbing it off as paid DLC later on. Meyer said Druckmann has yet to even think about the DLC at this point because everyone is determined to complete the main game.
He went on to say Druckmann does not know the plot of the DLC of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and no resources have been put into it yet. Nobody at Naughty Dog is working on the single player DLC at the moment.
This might come as good news for gamers. This means Naughty Dog is legitimately adding new stuff for the DLC. The studio is not purposefully cutting content in order to get people to pay for it later.
