EA has now announced a brand new game mode for Star Wars Battlefront called “Blast”.
“Blast” is a new Team Deathmatch mode in Star Wars Battlefront. It pits the Rebels against the Imperials in an intense fight with up to 20 people on the battlefield. It’s 10v10 and the team to reach 100 kills first or are ahead in 10 minutes wins.
This new mode will also have levels specifically catered for this type of intense action. You could see yourself in interior levels, or even branch out outside. All of the planets in the game will offer a wide variety of locations for you to battle on.
This mode is also contained so the levels will not be big and vast. It’s a close-quarters mode so you are bound to get shot often. DICE is also making the levels different in each game mode. You won’t see the same type of levels used in the game modes.
Fans of “realistic” style of combat will love Blast as there are no vehicles and Heroes and Villains are not here either. You are just the normal soldiers with their laser blasters. Although there will be other types of pickups that you can use in this mode.
Star Wars Battlefront releases from November 17th for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The new game mode will be shown in full next week at Gamescom.
