Star Fox Zero has been in the works for awhile and has gone through a few different delays, though it was finally dated for April 22 awhile back. With little information and rumors of trouble behind the scenes, many wondered if another delay might be coming, but that is not the case.
Today’s new Nintendo Direct started off with a large focus on Star Fox Zero, as it is certainly one of Nintendo’s biggest upcoming games. We learned many new details within this, with it ending with confirmation that the game was still coming as scheduled.
According to Nintendo’s Bill Trinen, Star Fox Zero is still launching on April 22 exclusively for Wii U.
This is great news for the Wii U, as the console really needs a big game for the early part of the year. Fans have been waiting on this game for a long time now, so thankfully the game is still scheduled for release on April 22 so we can finally get our hands on it.
