While Overwatch thrives on the fact that it has lots of characters that are fun to play as, there will inevitably be some that are less used than others. One such character is Symmetra, who currently has the honor of being the game’s least-used character.
However, it looks like Blizzard has some plans in the works that will aim to change that relatively soon. The game’s director Jeff Kaplan recently spoke with Business Insider about the character and revealed that she does not get picked nearly as much as most of the other characters. He said the following:
“A character being that situational is not really desirable to us, so even though I can kind of justify why it happens, that doesn’t mean that I believe that it’s right. So Symmetra is a hero who’s on our list right now to take a good look at and really investigate.”
He goes on to say that “She is a hero we’d like to make some changes to. I think those changes wouldn’t see the light of day until November, though, because we want to do a bunch of internal testing.”
