Overwatch Wins Game Of The Year At 2017 DICE Awards

Recommended Videos

It’s been a great nine months for Overwatch, the class-based multiplayer shooter from Blizzard Entertainment that seems to have taken the entire gaming world by storm, and that now includes a Game of the Year award.

The DICE Awards were presented last night, and Overwatch won not only the top honor, but also the Outstanding Achievement in Game Design, Outstanding Achievement in Online Gameplay, and Action Game of the Year awards.

It should come as no surprise, as Overwatch has been hailed by practically everyone (including us) for its smooth and addictive gameplay and character designs that have led to an explosion of fan fiction. Not bad at all for an online-only, multiplayer-only game.
