PlayStation Home Gets Remodeling on Thursday

Sony’s PlayStation Home is getting an update on Thursday. The update features changes to many of the features of the social platform for the PlayStation 3. Changes to the navigation, shopping, socialization, and entertainment features will see changes come Thursday.

Sony's PlayStation Home is getting an update on Thursday. The update features changes to many of the features of the social platform for the PlayStation 3. Changes to the navigation, shopping, socialization, and entertainment features will see changes come Thursday.

The update will feature "a number" of free-to-play games:

Bootleggers '29 - A PlayStation Home exclusive FPS set in the prohibition era

PlayStation Home Hold'em - A Free online version of the popular Texas Hold'em Poker

PlayStation Home Sports Trivia - An online sports triva game

RC Rally - Build and customize a remote controlled car and race against freinds online

Cogs - A Steampunk puzzle game

New Genre based districts will also be introduced in the update:

Action District - A gathering place for hardcore gamers

Sportswalk - A place for sports-themed games and gamers

Adventure District - Will be Uncharted 3 Themed

Pier Park - A boardwalk that leads to carnival, puzzle, outdoor, and arcade games

PS Home Theater - Community videos and other video content

PS Home Mall - Get your favorite content from the most popular gaming franchises

Ah, it’s just like you two to come trolling about the update that’s giving some FREE games to PS3 gamers. It must be sad to realize you are such an ignorant moron to support Xbox and the only gaming platform that is pay to play.
I find joy in playing all your exclusives but with FREE online play on PC. And I love laughing at how much your shooters (which 360 is all about) are so much better on PC.
And while I play games like Battlefield 3 on my PS3, running so smooth – I just think how pitiful you are, paying for online play when such a smooth wonderful experience can be given for free on PS3.

  hell yeah I enjoy xbox exclusives. Dude I love playing Halo, Gears, Mass Effect 1, Left 4 Dead, Battlestations & Fable on PC with free online play the PC way.
  It’s because I’m smarter than to piss out hard earned cash and supporting xbox with their scams and their overpriced hardware. Supporting Micro$not “software” is something I love to do, I love my gaming PC.
  Xbox is fun as hell, just as fun as playstation. The problem is their work ethics or lack of ethics.

  If it were a response they would be doing this yearly. Playstation is awesome, too bad you can’t see that.
  And it’s $5/month, if you pay yearly $60, so really instead of buying a brand new game on release day you gotta pay for live. Every one else in the world doesn’t have to pay. LOL

I am gonna have to completely agree with Allen.. I love some of the Xbox exclusives, but I won’t waste my money on inferior technology or the Crappy business ethics that microsoft have.
Truth Be Told
I have to agree while the exclusives are awesome, and they are I hate the idea of paying to play, now I’m not trying to turn into the next Xboxpwns or Allen or anything but microsoft is just a major scammer just like Bobby Kotick of Actvison Blizzard. I have’nt played Xbox Live since the spring of 2010 because of MW2 and chances are might never again, but face it PS3 has superior performance and the online is free.
