Sony’s PlayStation Home is getting an update on Thursday. The update features changes to many of the features of the social platform for the PlayStation 3. Changes to the navigation, shopping, socialization, and entertainment features will see changes come Thursday.
The update will feature “a number” of free-to-play games:
Bootleggers ’29 – A PlayStation Home exclusive FPS set in the prohibition era
PlayStation Home Hold’em – A Free online version of the popular Texas Hold’em Poker
PlayStation Home Sports Trivia – An online sports triva game
RC Rally – Build and customize a remote controlled car and race against freinds online
Cogs – A Steampunk puzzle game
New Genre based districts will also be introduced in the update:
Action District – A gathering place for hardcore gamers
Sportswalk – A place for sports-themed games and gamers
Adventure District – Will be Uncharted 3 Themed
Pier Park – A boardwalk that leads to carnival, puzzle, outdoor, and arcade games
PS Home Theater – Community videos and other video content
PS Home Mall – Get your favorite content from the most popular gaming franchises
