PlayStation Plus October Games Detailed

by Adam Arinder on September 27, 2013

Sony has announced five more games to be added to their Instant Game Collection for the month of October. These games include: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, Shadow of the Colossus, Sine Mora, Telltale Games’ Poker Night 2 and Hotline Miami.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to download these games for free starting Tuesday. As an added bonus, Hotline Miami is a Cross Buy title, allowing players to download it on both PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.

With such a diverse groups of games, Sony keeps proving time and time again the value of its PlayStation Plus program. My only problem is I keep buying games and then they become free shortly thereafter. But then again, I guess that’s not that bad of a problem to have.

Say Something
  • RoadShow

    Nice lineup!

  • Blarg

OK, no thanks. I’ll stick with the two free games I get with the Games With Gold service.

    • Wizard of Peace

      Those terrible games? WHY?!

      • Duke

Don’t worry, he’s a little shall we say “incomplete”. His brain never quite formed properly, so silly and obviously stupid decisions, seem good and normal to him.

    • XBOXsucks

The ones ending in December and that took 12 years to get? Oh and really old!?

    • Mark Danger Hopps

lol i feel so sorry for hime sometimes

    • Shannon Novosel

You enjoy your 4.99 value games there blarg

    • RoadShow

Magic 2013 – an xbox arcade title.

      • Blarg

At least our online network actually works. Sorry bro.

        • RoadShow

Yeah I’m sure the tens of millions of Playstation gamers are all out there loving a flawed network. LMAO @ your pathetic existence. PSN is every bit as good as XBL except you were stupid enough to pay for XBL and their worthless subscription.

          • Blarg

At least we don’t have constant updates and downtimes and we’ve never had our credit card details stolen. Sorry bro.

          • Shannon Novosel

At least we don’t have a great fail rate and have to be without are counsel and games

  • Lacerz

Nice, but nowhere near as nice as the EU Plus offering.

  • GK15

Touché Sony fans. This is a great feature. And a good lineup.

  • Ricky

There’s literally no reason to buy games once you sign up. New game comes out, bound to be free in a couple months.

  • NathGamer

I haven’t even completed Assassins Creed 3 from last month and now I have Far Cry 3 coming in Oct! It’s a good time to be a PlayStation owner!

    • Whitbizzle

I know it’s crazy, I have too many games to play. Still finishing Mafia 2 off and now I’ve bought FIFA there is no chance ill get round to AC3
