While Sony is busy securing partnerships and making it easier to develop indie games on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, the company is also making it easier to find the content on the PlayStation Store.

In an upcoming update for the PS Store, the Sony marketplace will see an indie category added to the online storefront. Sony is discounting a handful of indie games to make checking out the new section worth your while. Retro City Rampage, Papo & Yo, and Zombie Tycoon will all be discounted as part of the launch for this new category.

The category will house titles like Journey, Unfinished Swan, Guacamelee, and other games that Sony deems “indie”.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will also see a discount for Papo & Yo as part of their PS Plus subscription. Free PS Plus downloads in May include Sleeping Dogs, Pinball Arcade, Knytt Underground, Germinator, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend, as well as other discounted titles.
