Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire released last fall as remakes of the classic third generation Ruby and Sapphire. While X and Y are the actual sixth generation games, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire have gotten tons of content and the latest is a Pokemon that is event exclusive.
Starting this Friday, July 24, through Monday, July 27, the mythical Pokemon Diancie will be available to download for those that own Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire only.
Diancie will come equip with Diamond Storm, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, and Protect in battle. Upon obtaining her, you can also go to a Pokemon Center and you will receive her Mega Stone to bring forth Mega Diancie, the only Mega Evolution of the 6th generation Pokemon.
The special Diancie is being distributed through the Nintendo Network, so you won’t even have to leave your house to obtain her. Just go to Mystery Gift and choose to download it that way.
Last year, gamers were able to go to GameStop and get the event Diancie for Pokemon X and Y, but the only way to get it in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire was to trade in the past. This is obviously going to be so much easier, as you won’t have to bother traveling to your local GameStop.
