Rocksteady Studios’ epic conclusion to their Batman trilogy is almost here in Batman: Arkham Knight, with E3 bound to show us even more of the game in a couple weeks. We’ve had some story trailers that have shown a little bit of the combat, but now they have released an over seven minute gameplay video that tells us “Time To Go To War.”
After seeing the growth between Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, there is no doubt that Rocksteady will push it to the next level with Batman: Arkham Knight. The first part of the trailer is for the most part the kind of stuff we saw in Arkham City, with Batman gliding around the city and going to a specific location.
We do get a brand new cutscene with Poison Ivy that is quite good and helps to give us a little bit of an idea of what how Scarecrow will have all of Batman’s rogues gallery after him in this game. The brand new portion is where we get to see some Batmobile action, where we not only get to see some high-speed driving, but also some use of the on-board weapons system.
Batman: Arkham Knight will be releasing on June 23 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC and if you want to check out the new gameplay video, you can do so below.
