Club Nintendo is sadly coming to an end and hopefully will bring us a much better loyalty program in the future. As with every year, there were Platinum and Gold levels that one could achieve, each with corresponding rewards. While actual coins can be redeemed through the end of June, those who reached Platinum or Gold status have much less time.
For those that reached either Club Nintendo Platinum or Gold status, you can only retrieve your reward through today, April 30. If you do not at least get your code through the site today, you will have no further opportunity to do so. The actual redemption code that you will use on the Nintendo eShop should last longer however, but there is no specific date for those.
Those who are eligible to receive a Club Nintendo Platinum or Gold reward have a large number of digital Nintendo games to choose from for the final gift to loyal Nintendo fans. The list for Platinum includes Wii U titles like Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and both NES Remix games for Wii U or games like Yoshi’s New Island and Mario Kart 7 for 3DS. Gold members are relegated to just Virtual Console or even a few eShop games, rather than bigger releases. Platinum members can technically get any of the Gold ones instead, but the Platinum are certainly much better.
