Rayman Legends: 30 New Levels Added following delay

Rayman Legends was already supposed to be in the hands of Wii U owners at this point. The game which was slated to arrive in February saw a delay just days prior to release, and was announced to be a multiplatform title as well.

Ubisoft Montpellier isn’t just porting the game over to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the meantime, the developers say they are adding a lot of new content. “We’re not talking about adding some polish here and there, but 30 new levels and several bosses,” said Michael Micholic of the Rayman Legends team.

The delay pushed Rayman Legends back to September 2013, when the game will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U. Wii U owners have already gotten their hands on one highly polished demo that arrived earlier this year. A second demo, one that’s said to include the game’s online challenge mode, is slated to arrive later this month as a free download on the Nintendo Store.
