Rayman Legends video was proof of concept, says Ubisoft

Rayman Legends wasn't supposed to be seen outside of Ubisoft

That video of Rayman Legends wasn’t supposed to reach anyone outside of Ubisoft according to a recent statement by the publisher.  VG247 recieved clarification from Ubisoft, where they addressed the video as a “Internal Leak”.

“An internal video showing images of Rayman Origins’ sequel has leaked over the internet. This video was intended as a purely internal demonstrative video, and in NO way represents the final game, the final console or their features.”

The video was at least a good measure of interest for a Rayman Origins sequel, as many fans have expressed jubilation to see the new features and Wii U functionality.  Perhaps Ubisoft will have a more finalized version to show off at E3 in a little over a month.
