One of the best rated PS4 games from last year is coming to the PS Vita. That game is none other than Resogun.
James Hawkins from XDev Studio Europe revealed on the PlayStation Blog that Sony will be releasing Resogun to the PS Vita. He said that a Vita version of the game is coming and “looking, sounding and most importantly, playing great“.
To further put fuel to the fire, Resogun’s developer Housemarque confirmed the exciting news to IGN. Although Housemarque will not be responsible for porting the game to the PS Vita.
Instead, Climax Studios will be porting Resogun to the PS Vita platform. The studio has experience with PS Vita ports as they ported Dead Nation Apocalypse Edition on PS4 and Dead Nation on PS Vita as well.
Resogun is one of the PS4’s most critically acclaimed video games. Many people loved the addictive gameplay as well as the futuristic and cool looking visuals. It will be interesting to see if a cross-buy option will be available to people that already own the game on PS4. That way, people that own both consoles don’t have to buy the game twice.
Sony is sure to make a formal announcement for Resogun on PS Vita very soon.
