Rocket League is set to be making its way to Xbox One next month, though when it does it will be coming with content that is exclusive to that version of the game. Xbox fans will be able to enjoy exclusive Sunset Overdrive-themed content, which includes the likes of OverCharge Delirium XT rocket boost and an awesome Fizzco antenna.
This content was fully-supported by Sunset Overdrive developer Insomniac Games, who said that, “seeing what they did with the Overcharge Rocket Boost was especially thrilling. The Overcharge bubbles look and sound great. When the booster is activated, you can hear the firing mechanism from the Ahab gun in Sunset. It’s so good! Hats off to our friends at Psyonix. They did a hell of a job.”
This isn’t the first time that a version of Rocket League got exclusive content on a particular platform, as on the PlayStation 4 version of the game gamers got to play as Sweet Tooth of Twisted Metal fame. The PC version of the game currently does not have any exclusive content.
Rocket League is currently available on PlayStation 4 and PC, with the Xbox One version set to launch next month. Mac and Linux versions of Rocket League are also in the works, though their release dates remain TBA.
