Second Dark Souls 3 DLC Won’t Launch Until 2017

While Dark Souls 3 will be getting its first DLC expansion later this year, the second of the three expansions won’t be making a 2016 launch. We had recently learned that the first DLC will come this Fall, but now we know that the second DLC will launch in early 2017.

This news was revealed by the game’s director, Hidetaka Miyasaki, who recently spoke with GNN Gamer about the game. Unfortunately, we don’t have any information about what either DLC expansion is set to contain specifically.

Interestingly, Dark Souls 3 will be getting three pieces of DLC, whereas Bloodborne only got one. That was called The Old Hunters and brought a decent chunk of new content for players to explore that had finished up with the main game.

Dark Souls 3 launched earlier this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, garnering critical acclaim. We had a lot of fun with the game, and you can check out our review by clicking right here.
