An ad that appeared on the mobile version of the PlayStation Store may have revealed that the Uncharted Trilogy Remaster on PS4 is real.
NerdBite captured an image of the ad being shown on the mobile version of the PlayStation Store. The Uncharted Trilogy Remaster on PS4 may now have an official name. The ad calls it “Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection”.
Calling it Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is similar to how Microsoft called Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Right now, there is no confirmation from Sony if this collection is being planned. Rumors suggest this collection will finally be announced and revealed at E3 2015.
It’s highly likely we may see Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection later this year. With the delay of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End being pushed back until Spring 2016, there is a gap in the Holiday 2015 schedule.
Releasing The Nathan Drake Collection during Holiday 2015 will be good for the PS4 console. This might convince people that have never played the trilogy before to finally experience how good they are.
The collection will consist of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Only the PS Vita exclusive Golden Abyss won’t be included from the looks of things.
Update: Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann tweeted: “Well… that hit a few hours too early. See you in the AM. G’night y’all.”
