South Park: The Stick of Truth found on Live Marketplace

by | @AttackFanboy | on May 5, 2012

Remember that South Park RPG that was revealed to be in development at Obsidian a few months back? Well it looks like they’ve settled on a name for the game; South Park: The Stick of Truth. Described on the Xbox Live Marketplace in the Game Overview below, there’s not much more to go on other than it’s fancy new name.

“From the perilous battlefields of the fourth-grade playground, a young hero will rise, destined to be South Park’s savior. From the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, comes an epic quest to become…cool. South Park: The Stick of Truth.”

Last year the game was revealed to feature writing from Trey and Matt, and was self-described as less of a “cash-in” title than some previous efforts. When to expect the RPG is still undetermined. Some new screenshots were also updated on the Xbox Live Marketplace, and you can find those below.
