Splinter Cell Conviction Sells 1.8 million copies in first month

Ubisoft released its latest quarterly earning report via company conference call and released a staggering figure in the process. It's latest Sam Fisher adventure has sold 1.8 million copies in its first month in circulation. Ubisoft expects this number to expand greatly over the next few months with addition of downloadable content. Ubisoft projects first quarter sales numbers of 180 million and Splinter Cell has seemingly been the big winner over the past month or so being that the game industry sales took a nose dive in April. So much for gamers not liking the changes made to the series.
