DICE has talked briefly on what they expect from the PC requirements for Star Wars Battlefront.
DICE notes that even though Star Wars Battlefront uses the Frostbite engine, it’s a different game from Battlefield Hardline and Battlefield 4.
Star Wars Battlefront’s community manager, Matthew Everett, talked more on how the team will test the game on several PC hardware on Reddit.
According to Everett, Star Wars Battlefront is not in beta phase yet. Once the game is in beta phase, they can start out testing the game on many PCs. This is when they can see what the minimum specifications are needed to run the game.
Everett is hoping Star Wars Battlefront has the same minimum requirements as both Battlefield Hardline and Battlefield 4. Although he says he cannot commit to specific details on this yet. He’s hoping to know the information as soon as possible. He knows not everyone out there has a powerful PC like himself.
Everett also mentioned on Reddit that new gameplay footage from Star Wars Battlefront will be shown at E3 2015. It will be different from what was shown to people at the Star Wars Celebration event back in April.
Star Wars Battlefront releases on PC, Xbox One and PS4 from November 17th, 2015.
