by | @AttackFanboy | on August 1, 2012

StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty has recently seen a patch deployed that brings a broad suite of changes to the real time strategy title. A new implementation called the StarCraft II Arcade allows the community to discover and share an assortment of both developer and community made game types.

Alongside the Arcade mode, Blizzard has also introduced an new user interface for StarCraft II that streamlines navigating the game’s many facets as well as a new set of editing tools for those looking to develop their own game types.

StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty patch 1.5.0 also introduces the new streaming client feature to the game. Similar to the ones found in Diablo III and World of Warcraft, this means that you don’t have to wait until the download is finished to begin testing out the new features of the game.
