In EA Access, you normally get to play the full game with a time limit of 10 hours. However, Unravel only allows you to play a small portion of the game for 10 hours if you want to.
As reported by VideoGamer EA has confirmed that the EA Access trial for Unravel only includes the first two levels of the game. You are free to play the first two levels as many times as you want for 10 hours.
Normally EA Access games allow you to play the full game for as much as you can in 10 hours. I played Star Wars Battlefront and FIFA 16 for 10 hours and had no restrictions. Both games had full access to every mode.
It’s possible Unravel is not a very long game and this is why a restriction has been put in place. It might be possible the game can be completed in under 10 hours which is why only two levels are available to play.
This is actually not the first time an EA Access game limited its game modes. I played NBA Live 16 via EA Access last month and many modes were blocked and only a handful of teams were available to play.
EA Access is available on Xbox One and PC. The PC version is called Origin Access. Sony chose not be be on board so the service is unavailable for PS4.
