Titanfall will never come to the PlayStation 4. That’s what was relayed today during EA’s Quarterly Financials. The mega-publisher’s Cheif Financial Officer, Blake Jorgensen dropped the news to investors earlier today.
“In the case of Titanfall, it’s a brand new IP and it’s exclusive only for the life of the title on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 and PC,” said Jorgensen.
This puts rumors to bed that the game might be coming to the PS4 at a later date, similar to timed exclusives that have been seen by Microsoft in the past. The shooter coming from Respawn Entertainment is due to release in the early parts of 2014, and has been garnering numerous “best in show” awards, at tradeshows like E3, Gamescom, and others.
