Gamers will get first crack at Twisted Metal on January 31st when the demo for the game releases on the PlayStation Network. Announced just recently during the PlayStation Blogcast, the multiplayer demo will allow players to test drive some of the rolling weaponry of the game.
Twisted Metal will finally hit consoles next month, when the game releases on Valentine’s Day.
Twisted Metal is the longest running franchise for the PlayStation brand, and after a long hiatus, the return of the dark and twisted universe created by David Jaffe and Eat Sleep Play is set to return later next month. Jaffe has been adamant that multiplayer is the major focus for the game. In the multiplayer modes, players will do vehicular combat with characters that feature unique powerups and abilities.
