Ubisoft releases Far Cry 3 map mod for Minecraft

by | @AttackFanboy | on October 29, 2012

A new free downloadable mod has been made available for Minecraft players on PC that features the “warped tones” and jungle setting of Far Cry 3.  Modified to include all aspects found in Far Cry 3, Minecraft players who download the mod will see custom blocks, weapons and tools.

Ubisoft also notes that characters Vaas, Jason, and Citra can all be found in the Far Cry 3 map mod, which was worked on numerous Minecraft enthusiasts.  You can download the Minecraft mod here, and this weirdly matched crossover is said to contain a ton of Far Cry 3 Easter Eggs.

Far Cry 3 is set for a December release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
