Valve reported to be expanding European Studio

Recommended Videos

Valve, the reputable company behind giant hits such as Steam and the Half-Life franchise, is now reported to be opening up a studio in the UK and expanding its European studio in Luxemborg, reports Develop. The Luxemborg studio, according to Develop, houses around 5 “staff” who focus on Steam along with working with development partners. An example of this being when Valve published Turtle Beach Studio’s Left 4 Dead.

According to the report, if the studio proves to be successful, it may expand into a full-fledged development team, but details are scarce on what that team would specifically develop. (Maybe Half-Life 3?) Develop also reports that Valve felt that Luxemborg was an “ideal place”, with it being located in Central Europe and providing easier access to European talent.

More details are sure to emerge and the story will be updated to reflect the newer details should they arise.
